Pain Tries to Protect You
Pain is the result of communication between your body and your brain. It is the message sent by your brain to alert of danger, and protect you from harm. The longer it has been going on, the more that message is loud and hard to quiet down. And the harder it becomes to treat your pain by only treating the body.
Chronic pain is always physical and psychological
So it requires a holistic, global treatment that will support both the body, (the wound, nutrition, sleep), the mind (mindset, vision of life, nervous system), the spirit or psychological (grief, anxiety, emotions acceptance), and the environment (lifestyle habits, toxins, stresses).
This model of treatment of chronic pain is called the bio-psychosocial model (see blog article) and it has proven its effectiveness since the 70’s! –But of course our sick-care system prefers to treat pain with pills and procedures…

Rewire your brain out of chronic pain
Pain becomes chronic when those pain neural pathways are used for too long.
Using pain reprocessing therapy tools, let’s discover what your body is trying to tell you, and what happens when you listen to his messages and replace them with messages of safety.
We will also see how the 6F of pain (fear, frustration, focusing, fighting, figuring out, fixing) have been keeping you in a cycle of pain, and how to stop the vicious cycle.
See how emotions affect your pain levels and manage them more efficiently
Chronic pain comes with a roller coster of emotions that requires a strong mindset and a lot of resilience.
Grief, sadness, frustration, hopelessness, depression…are frequent co-travellers.
By the end of this program you will have learned and practiced techniques to keep away from the anxiety-pain cycle. You will track heavy emotions stuck in your body in the shape of symptoms and pains with somatic tracking and be able to observe them as they dissipate.

In this program, I may offer education and guidance so that you can make the decisions that are right for you and for your body. I believe that the patient knows best, which is why I use a coaching model, not a consultation model.
A diagnosis
These tools will be useful to alleviate chronic pain regardless of diagnosis, and may make a diagnosis unnecessary.
Pain management through pills
Some of the tools I will share with you can work better than medication (see study here) or placebo. Other times, it works best in conjunction with your medical treatment, depending on the person. My goal is always to help you gain control of your symptoms and condition, not add more stress, obligations, pills, or side effects.

YOUR MIND-BODY PAIN COACH
Hello, I´m Tishia
— a licensed CBT Clinical Psychologist in Belgium, and Mind-body Coach in the USA, with a personal history of chronic pain & illness.
My personal journey with invisible illness began in 2004 when I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism. After the birth of my children, I spent years navigating unexplained fatigue, back pain, migraines, pelvic discomfort, and digestive issues. It wasn’t until 2014, after extensive medical testing, that I was diagnosed with endometriosis at the Mayo Clinic in Florida. During surgery, I also discovered I had adenomyosis.
The long healing process that followed made me realize the limitations of our “sick-care” system and reinforced my desire to manage my symptoms more naturally. This led me to explore alternative treatments, including herbal medicine and lifestyle interventions, and to deepen my understanding of chronic pain psychology.
I created this program for the version of me who felt alone, lost, unsupported, confused and overwhelmed while exhausted of having tried everything.
It’s not that it does not work for you. You just haven’t been given the right tools and plan yet.
I spent the past 20 years studying and finding what worked for my endometriosis and adenomyosis symptoms to learn what I needed to get my life back.
