Hi! My name is Titia (Laetitia)

Imagine a coach who’s journeyed across continents and cultures, just like you might be navigating your own inner landscape. As a dual citizen fluent in English and French, my life has been a vibrant tapestry woven from experiences in over 25 countries (and counting!). From my roots in Belgium, where I’m a licensed CBT clinical psychologist, to serving neurodiverse children in Florida and Colorado, then American military families in beautiful Bavaria for five years, I’ve cultivated a deep understanding of the human experience. Now, under the Florida sunshine, I bring this global perspective to my work coaching clients worldwide.

My connection to nature runs deep, sparked in childhood and fueling a lifelong fascination with the wilderness, natural healing, and the intricacies of human nature. It is still where I go to find my  peace and renewal today. This passion led me to the empowering principles of CBT and mind-body tools. I have experienced first hand how chronic pain can keep you from the activities you love and take away your life, bit by bit. Today, alongside my roles as a wife, mother of 2 neurodiverse children, and caretaker to a lively crew of pets (including Kahla, my therapy dog in training!), I am committed to fostering healing and growth in my coaching clients, and help them get their life back.

Your Pain Relief Coach & Burnout Recovery Coach

Certified as a Health & Wellbeing Coach with WellCoaches, USA, I am also a Board registered and Belgium-licensed Clinical Psychologist, with a specialization in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapies (CBT) from UCL  (Board registration + clinician visa+ Agrement). I also contract with organizations to provide mental health support to US veterans stationed in Europe, as part of the Wounded Warrior Project.

I will meet you where you are with respect, warmth and kindness. I will partner with you to uncover your needs, blocages, strengths, and challenge unhelpful thoughts. My mission is to empower you to embrace new habits, build resilience and experiment with more efficient coping strategies to reach lasting results.

I would welcome the opportunity to go on this journey with you as we create a holistic wellness plan that is ambitious while doable, and catered to your individual needs!

My approach to Care

My approach is holistic, which means it includes all aspects of a person: mind, body, spirit and emotions. My sessions are solution-focused and strength-based. I am a European-licensed (visa & Agrement) CBT therapist, using a variety of modalities in my practice.  I do not provide psychotherapy nor psychoanalysis.

In addition, my approach  to care, wether as a psychologist in Europe or as a Coach in the United States is also integrative, meaning it integrates with other therapeutic modalities (it does not replace medical treatment), and includes methodologies and tools from a variety of approaches rooted in science, research and empirical evidence:

How I became a Burnout & Pain Coach

As a child I grew up in Belgium, on the country side in a 13th century horse farm. Growing close to nature sparked a lifelong love for the natural world.

This brought me to study Cognitive-behavioral therapies (CBT) in college. My interest in Clinical Psychology was at the intersection of both, so my thesis was on “the use of animal-assisted therapies for autistic children”, and both my internships evolved around child psychiatry and animal-assisted therapies. One in a daytime child psychiatric center in Belgium that offered horse-assisted therapies; the other in the Florida Keys, where I worked in a multidisciplinary team providing therapy assisted by dolphins!

In 2005, newly armed with my diploma, I left Belgium to go live and work in the beautiful USA. There I worked as a consultant in  childcare facilities, as a behavioural therapist for children on the autistic spectrum or with ADHD, as a school psychologist in Colorado testing neuro-divergent children, and as an Infant/Toddler Development Specialist in Florida.

However, after the birth of my first child it became clear something wasn’t quite right with my health. Diverse life events, a dysfunctional immune system and the limitations of conventional medicine eventually led me to realize that I needed to leave that career behind to find more balance and focus on my health.

I then left the corporate world to try to find a work rhythm I could manage better.  I started working from home as a freelancer, at my own pace, and taking care of my two adorable cherubs.

Although creative work was therapeutic to me, something seemed to be missing. I felt I had lost my connection with people, with healing, and worse of all, with nature.

After a successful surgery, I was left with some symptoms and pains. I spent a few years soul-searching to uncover my true values and priorities in life. Then it is our move back to Europe for my husband’s work, in an American military base in Bavaria, Germany, and the start of this dreadful pandemic that finally crystallised my passion. I decided to use my own experience and background to assist and accompany individuals on their journey to health and wellbeing, using all the knowledge, tools and experiences I had gathered through the years.

Today both my trainings and my personal experiences bring me strategies and methodologies that help me enrich sessions to accompany my clients. I am happy to bring them accountability and support on their journey to better life quality, health and wellness.

“I attract in my life whathever I give my attention, energy or focus to, wether positive or negative .” —Michael Losier
